Officially… Real Madrid’s player moves to Napoli

Napoli announced in an official statement that it had signed a contract with Real Madrid player Rafa Marin for a period of 3 years.

Marin spent last season on loan at Alaves, and despite his good abilities, coach Carlo Ancelotti was not convinced of the feasibility of relying on him at the heart of defence.

According to what was confirmed by the Spanish media, Real Madrid has reserved the right to buy back Marine starting in 2026 for 25 million euros, and the value will increase to 35 million in 2027.

Napoli can double this value if it pays 10 million euros to Real Madrid in 2025, increasing the value of the buyback clause to 50 million euros and 70 million euros.

At the same time, signing Marin cost Napoli’s coffers this summer only 12 million euros.

It is noteworthy that the 22-year-old Marin is Napoli’s third signing this summer with Antonio Conte, after signing Leonardo Spinazzola and Popovic for free.
