Roma announced in an official statement on Wednesday the dismissal of its coach Daniele De Rossi due to the decline in results at the beginning of the season.
The capital club has not been able to achieve any victory this season in 4 matches in the Italian League after drawing 3 and losing 1.
De Rossi took over the training of the Wolves after Jose Mourinho last January, and succeeded in leading Roma to achieve sixth place in the league and reach the semi-finals of the Europa League.
De Rossi’s dismissal is largely surprising after he renewed his contract in the summer for two years, and it seems that a dispute arose between him and the management was the reason for the lack of patience with Roma’s modest start to this season.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, former Torino coach Ivan Juric is the closest to succeeding De Rossi in training Roma.
Juric presented distinguished football with Torino, and tends to rely on young players and attacking football, which makes Roma’s management attracted to the idea of contracting him.
It remains to be noted that Saud Abdul Hamid moved to Roma based on De Rossi’s desire, which raises many questions about his future in Italy and how Juric will deal with him.
