Officially… UEFA announces the best player in Euro 2024

UEFA chose the Spain star Rodri as the best player in the Euro 2024 tournament after his country won the title at the expense of England.

Rodri participated in all of Spain’s matches in the tournament, except for Albania’s last match in the group stage, when he was absent due to suspension.

The Manchester City star scored one goal in the Round of 16 match against Georgia, but his actual role was to lead the Matador midfield, in which he succeeded greatly.

Rodri’s influence on the Spain national team was clearly evident when he left during halftime of the final match against England due to injury, and left a real crisis for Luis de la Fuente’s squad.

At the same time, UEFA awarded Spain star Lamine Yamal the best young player award in the tournament.

The 17-year-old scored a goal in the semi-final against France, and assisted four others throughout the tournament, writing a huge history for himself as the youngest to participate, score and assist in Euro history.
