Officially .. Zamalek star confirmed to be absent from the summit against Al-Ahly

Zamalek coach Jose Peseiro excluded Mahmoud Jihad from his team’s list that will participate in the Al-Ahly match on Saturday.

The Portuguese’s exclusion of the new arrival came after Jihad suffered a hamstring injury before the last match against Petrojet.

It is expected that the absence of Jihad, who joined from Farco last January for 50 million euros, will be long, as it is said that he may be absent from the stadiums for up to a month and a half.

The good news is that Ahmed Sayed Zizo will most likely catch up with the Al-Ahly match after his injury in the last match against Petrojet, after it was proven that his injury is not serious or difficult.

Zamalek’s absences in the summit will be limited to Hamza Al-Mathlouthi, Ahmed Fattouh and Ahmed Hamdi due to injury, in addition to Nasser Maher due to suspension, and other than that, all options are available to Peseiro.

It is noteworthy that Zamalek occupies third place with 27 points, 5 points behind Al-Ahly in second place, and 6 points behind the leader Pyramids after the end of 14 rounds of the Egyptian League.
