Barcelona star Dani Olmo has expressed his confidence in Barcelona’s ability to win the El Clasico against Real Madrid on Saturday.
The Spanish star came on as a substitute in the last match against Bayern Munich in the Champions League, which Barça won 4-1 and continued their excellent start to the season.
When asked about the upcoming El Clasico, Olmo replied by saying: “El Clasico is the best match you can play in Europe or Spain.”
He added: “In a match like this you cannot nominate a specific team to win before the whistle starts.”
He concluded: “I am confident that we can win the El Clasico with our ideas, and that is what we want to show on the pitch.”
It remains to be noted that Barcelona enter the El Clasico at the top of the La Liga standings with 27 points, compared to 24 for Real in second place.
