One coach accepts the task of succeeding Jesus at Al Hilal, while another “doesn’t respond”!

Okaz newspaper reported that Al Hilal officials have contacted two coaches in recent days to explore the possibility of succeeding Jorge Jesus as coach of the Blue Wave.

The Portuguese’s departure from Al Hilal is now a matter of time after the team’s poor results and the loss of the Saudi League title following a loss to Al Nassr and a draw with Al Ettifaq on Friday.

Now, Al Hilal is seriously considering dismissing Jesus immediately before the start of its journey in the AFC Champions League quarter-finals to preserve the club’s hopes of winning the Asian title.

According to the latest report, Al Hilal has negotiated with its former coach, Razvan Lucescu, the current coach of PAOK, and the Romanian has expressed his acceptance of the offer.

The other coach Al Hilal contacted was current Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi, but the Italian did not respond positively or negatively despite the expiry of the deadline.

It should be noted that Lucescu was one of the most successful coaches in Al Hilal’s history, leading the leader to the Saudi League, the King’s Cup, and the AFC Champions League titles.

Under his leadership, PAOK won the Greek league title last year, and this season they are in fourth place.
