The Spanish national team star, Pedri, expressed his understanding of Toni Kroos’s position regarding his injury, and stressed that he greatly appreciates the Germany national team star and respects his distinguished career on the football field.
Kroos apologized for hurting Pedri, and told the Barcelona star in a message on his Instagram account that he did not intentionally hurt him.
Pedri responded in a long message he posted about Euro 2024 on his Instagram account, “Thank you, Kroos, for your message.”
He also added, “This is football and these things always happen. Your career and achievements will remain immortal forever.”
As for his participation in the Euro, he said, “I went through a difficult moment and my return to the stadiums has now begun. I will soon return with full strength with Barcelona.”
He concluded, “I came to Germany to participate in the Euro. I will continue here until the end because the dream continues. Come on, Spain.”
It is noteworthy that Spain will face France in the semi-finals of Euro 2024, while Pedri will be out of action for about a month due to a sprained knee.
