The Italian Doping Court has approved a historic ruling against Juventus star Paul Pogba due to his being found to be using banned stimulants.
Pogba was temporarily suspended last September 11 after an analysis he conducted in August after Juventus’s 3-0 victory over Udinese, during which it was proven that there was an increase in the hormone testosterone.
After long deliberations and another sample taken from the French star, the court decided to ban Pogba from playing football for four years.
Pogba is 31 years old, which may make this harsh punishment the end of his football career, which collapsed over the last 3 years at Manchester United and then Juventus.
Pogba was once one of the most expensive football deals in history, after United bought him for nearly 100 million euros from Juventus in the summer of 2016, and in 2022 he returned for free to the Bianconeri.
Over the last two seasons in particular, injuries have not stopped haunting Pogba, as he has only played 12 matches since his return to Juventus.
