Bournemouth defender Dejan Huijsen has confirmed that a move to Real Madrid is a dream of his, following his recent links with the club next season.
Huijsen is currently considered one of the most prominent young defenders in the world, and his impressive performances this season have put him on the radar of several major clubs, including Liverpool and Manchester United.
Huijsen responded to his links with Real Madrid by saying, “One of my close friends sent me the news of my transfer to Real Madrid and told me to go there immediately.”
He added, “It’s a huge club, and every player wants to play for the biggest club possible.”
Real Madrid could sign the 18-year-old defender for just €50 million, the value of his release clause with Bournemouth.
Strengthening the center-back position is a priority for Florentino Pérez’s administration, but there are other names besides Huijsen, such as RB Leipzig defender Lukeba.
