Raphinha, one of Brazil’s most prominent players, has ignited the atmosphere ahead of the highly anticipated South American Superclásico between Brazil and Argentina.
In statements to Romario TV, the Barcelona winger confirmed that he is determined to score against Argentina in the match, which will be held at the Monumental Stadium in Buenos Aires on Wednesday morning.
“I’m going to score a goal, I’m going to make them curse it. No matter what,” Raphinha said.
He added, “We’re going to beat them like crazy! No doubt about it! We’re going to beat them like crazy! On and off the field if necessary!”
Brazil narrowly beat Colombia 2-1 in their last round, while Argentina won 1-0 away to Uruguay.
The Silver Lions need just one point to officially qualify for the 2026 World Cup.
