Sport newspaper confirmed that Marcus Rashford’s first desire in the current winter Mercato is to move to Barcelona, to the point of being willing to reduce his salary to achieve this goal.
The departure of the English international from Manchester United has become a matter of time only after he has completely left the calculations of coach Ruben Amorim, and the player’s representatives have already begun searching for a new club for him.
According to the Catalan newspaper, Barcelona remains Rashford’s first choice, however, he seems closer to moving to another club.
The secret behind this is that Barcelona cannot make any contracts currently before selling at least one player, so Rashford has to take the risk and wait until the end of the winter Mercato and see if the Catalan club will succeed in selling one of its stars or continue with United.
In the same context, Borussia Dortmund is pushing with all its might to convince Rashford to move to Signal Iduna Park as soon as possible.
Although Milan were in the race, the Italian club recently withdrew from the deal and Rashford is no longer in their plans, and Juventus’ position will almost certainly be similar in the coming days.
If things continue as they are now, the 27-year-old will most likely play the second half of the current season at Borussia Dortmund, especially since the German club has a very strong and good relationship with the Red Devils.
