Real Madrid Channel launched a fierce attack against the Spanish Football Federation and Spanish refereeing, commenting on the events of the recent Espanyol match.
The channel focused its attack on the shot of Carlos Romero not being sent off after the very violent tackle on Kylian Mbappé, and how this confirms corruption in La Liga.
The channel said, “It is an assault that could lead to injury to the player, it is unfortunate. This is what Real Madrid is exposed to in this dirty Negreira League.”
The Negreira League refers to the allegations that spread about the former vice-president of the referees committee receiving bribes from Barcelona.
The channel also directed harsh criticism at Rafael Lausanne, president of the Spanish Football Federation, and demanded his immediate resignation. The channel accused Lausanne of granting broad powers to Medina Cantalejo, whom it considered the direct heir to Negreira.
The harsh criticism did not stop during the broadcast, as commentators confirmed that refereeing errors have become a recurring problem facing Real Madrid.
They described the situation as “another Negreira day”, stressing the continued alleged bias against the royal club.
