AS newspaper has confirmed that Real Madrid’s management is close to renewing the contract of the club’s star Dani Carvajal for another year.
The Spanish right-back’s contract runs until the summer of 2025, and after the amazing levels he showed last season, Real Madrid’s management decided to keep him at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Negotiations between Carvajal and Real Madrid are currently going positively, and Florentino Pérez’s management is prioritizing the renewal of the 32-year-old in the coming period.
Real Madrid’s management believes that Carvajal is the best right-back in the world and cannot be replaced, which is why they will do everything to keep him at least until the summer of 2026.
Carvajal is not the only player on the renewal agenda at Real Madrid, but also Ferland Mendy, whose contract expires in the summer of 2025.
Coach Carlo Ancelotti is playing a big role in convincing Real Madrid’s management to renew Mendy, although the trend was to sell him or let him leave for free next summer and then bring in Alphonso Davies from Bayern Munich.
