Sport newspaper reported that Real Madrid has entered the line of those interested in signing Bayer Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah next summer.
Tah’s contract with the Bundesliga champion expires at the end of the current season, and he has announced on more than one occasion that he will not renew his contract and will leave next June.
Barcelona has had a great interest in signing Tah since last summer, but the difficult economic situation at the time prevented them from trying to complete the deal.
Barcelona maintains its interest in Tah, especially since he is a demand from coach Hansi Flick, but the reality is that it will be difficult next summer, after Real Madrid’s entry into the line.
The Merengue management wants to sign a new defender, and the idea of bringing Tah for free in the manner of Antonio Rudiger two years ago is what attracts Florentino Perez and his assistants the most.
It remains to be noted that Real’s mission will not be easy, as the German defender has great interest from Bayern Munich as well, who previously agreed with him last summer, but the Leverkusen management refused to sell.
