Real Madrid Concludes Major Summer Deal

Sky Sports has confirmed that Real Madrid has successfully completed its first signing of the upcoming summer transfer window.

The report concerns Trent Alexander-Arnold, who, according to the report, has agreed on all personal terms with the club’s officials.

The England international will join the club on a free transfer after his contract with Liverpool expires next June.

Arnold will earn significantly more money than his current salary at Liverpool, with the report stating that his annual salary at Real Madrid will be €15 million, or £240,000 per week.

The 25-year-old will receive a significant transfer bonus, likely ranging between €20 and €30 million.

Real Madrid will work to complete the transfer early so that Arnold is included in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad for the 2025 Club World Cup.

Arnold is currently suffering from a serious injury, but he should return before the end of the season. Therefore, a move to Real Madrid at the end of May would ensure he is able to participate in the upcoming World Cup.

The network confirms that Liverpool’s hopes of keeping Arnold have completely faded, despite discussions in recent weeks, and that the player’s desire to move to the Santiago Bernabéu has become clear.

With Arnold’s transfer, it is likely that Lucas Vázquez will leave Los Blancos next summer. Competition will be fierce between the Englishman and Dani Carvajal for the right-back position upon his return from injury.
