Manchester United’s new defender, Lenny Yoro, was spotted using crutches during the Red Devils’ training session at the University of California training center in the United States.
Yoro joined United from Lille less than a month ago for €52 million after being close to joining Real Madrid before the Spanish giants failed to reach an agreement with the French club.
The 18-year-old’s luck has not been good, as he suffered an injury in the first half of his second friendly match for United, against Arsenal.
A video of Yoro on Wednesday showed him wearing a protective boot and crutches, suggesting that manager Erik ten Hag’s statement that the injury is not serious doesn’t seem logical.

Initially, English media outlets have confirmed that it is unlikely Yoro will play in the remaining friendly matches for United on the US tour.
Manchester City’s Community Shield match, the first official match of the season for United, is scheduled for Saturday, August 10 at Wembley Stadium, and Yoro is unlikely to be fit for it either.
