A number of Real Madrid fans started to racially abuse Barcelona star Lamine Yamal during the Clasico played at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Yamal scored a goal in the Catalan club’s historic four-goal victory at the Madrid club’s stronghold, and after that, Real Madrid fans did not stop chanting against him.
A video clip published by the newspaper “Marca” showed that Real Madrid fans in the stadium after the goal began to racially abuse Yamal.
The 17-year-old did not react to what he was exposed to and was content to celebrate his goal, which made him the youngest scorer in the history of the Clasico ever.
After the video spread across social media, demands increased for Real Madrid’s management to intervene in order to punish everyone whose image and voice appeared while directing these hostile chants towards Yamal.
Florentino Perez’s administration is supposed to take action as it is one of the most active against racism in recent times in light of what Vinicius Junior suffered in Spanish stadiums.
