Real Madrid players received the Spanish League title on Sunday morning at the Royal Club’s training headquarters in Valdebebas in the capital, Madrid.
Carlo Ancelotti’s squad won La Liga in its favor two rounds ago, after defeating Cadiz 3-0 and losing Barcelona to Girona 4-2.
The cup was supposed to be handed over to the players in the Granada match on Saturday, but the administration refused to respect the feelings of the Nuevo Los Carimenes stadium fans after their team’s relegation was confirmed.
On Sunday morning, the President of the Spanish Football Federation went and handed the cup to the Real players in Valdebebas and gave them the cup, as was agreed, in the presence of club president Florentino Perez.

Captain Nacho Fernandez lifted the title at the Merengue training headquarters, which is the 36th title historically for Los Blancos, thereby confirming its dominance of the La Liga shield over time.
After raising the title, the players went to one of the famous squares in the capital, Madrid, to celebrate with the fans, during which they promised to do everything in order to achieve the Champions League title.
It is noteworthy that Real Madrid will face Borussia Dortmund at the beginning of next June at Wembley Stadium in the Champions League final.
