Real Madrid names two names to succeed Carvajal

Real Madrid’s management has settled on two names specifically to sign one of them either in January or next summer to support the right flank.

Dani Carvajal suffered a tear in 3 knee ligaments that will keep him off the field for more than a year.

Spanish newspapers revealed that Real Madrid does not intend to sign a new right-back at the moment, and the management prefers to wait until the summer and sign a permanent successor to Carvajal.

According to the newspaper “Bild”, the Merengue management is considering an option from the German league and may move for it in January.

We are talking here about the Dutchman Jeremy Frimpong, the star of Bayer Leverkusen, who is considered one of the best right-flank players in the Bundesliga.

Real Madrid can sign Frimpong next June for 40 million euros, which is the value of the penalty clause in his contract with Leverkusen, but if they want to sign him in the winter, they will have to negotiate with the German club.

Frimpong is the second choice behind everyone’s favourite at the Santiago Bernabeu, Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Arnold’s contract with Liverpool expires at the end of this season and Real Madrid want to be sure he will not renew his contract and will immediately enter into negotiations with him to finalise his move to the Spanish capital.
