Real Madrid star confirmed fit for Arsenal match

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti announced that Dani Ceballos will be fit to face Arsenal in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals.

The Italian coach’s comments came during a press conference ahead of Sunday’s La Liga match against Alavés, where Ancelotti confirmed Ceballos’s full recovery.

The coach was asked about the player’s fitness for the Alavés match, and he replied, “Ceballos can play tomorrow (against Alavés) and of course he’ll be with us on Wednesday (against Arsenal).”

Ceballos missed nearly a month and a half with an injury, and it was reported that the club didn’t intend to risk him, which would have led to his absence against Arsenal. However, the player’s condition has improved and he is now fit for the match against Arsenal.

Prior to his injury, Ceballos was the star of Real Madrid’s midfield, and for the first time, a player has emerged who can fill the void left by Toni Kroos. Since his injury, the Merengues’ results and performances have declined.

With his return, Real Madrid’s only absentees against Arsenal will be Dani Carvajal, Eder Militao, and Ferland Mendy, while Andriy Lunin is expected to return to the bench after missing the last two matches through injury.
