Swedish media indicated that Yousef Salech is on his way to joining Al-Ahly before the end of the summer Mercato in Egypt.
Salech has dual citizenship, holds Palestinian and Swedish citizenship, and is currently active in Sirius, which was previously played for by Al-Ahly’s current top scorer Wissam Abu Ali.
Salech, 22, plays as a striker, and basically joined Sirius to compensate for Abu Ali’s departure to Al-Ahly last January.
According to reports, Al-Ahly has contacted Salic to include him, and is now preparing an offer that is the largest in Sirius’ history to convince him to give up the striker.
Al-Ahly will be willing to offer $2.5 million to sign Salech, a figure that will undoubtedly be accepted by the management of his Swedish club.
Perhaps the Palestinian player’s numbers confirm that he deserves this value, as he played 18 matches this season and contributed to 11 goals by scoring 10 and making one goal.
Salech is also the fifth top scorer in the Swedish league, just 3 goals behind the leaders, with 10 rounds remaining in the competition.
