Al Hilal management welcomes the sale of Neymar during the upcoming winter transfer period, according to media figure Tariq Al-Nofal in the Al-Awal program.
The Brazilian international has just returned from the injury that kept him off the field for more than a year, however, Al Hilal management “despaired” of the player providing the hoped-for addition.
According to the source, Inter Miami is determined to reunite Neymar with Lionel Messi again, and indeed there have been negotiations between the American club and Al Hilal recently to buy the 32-year-old.
Neymar’s contract with Al Hilal still extends until the end of the current season, and the player is not entitled to participate in any local match until next January, and can only play in the AFC Champions League.
Al-Nofal says that Al Hilal does not mind Neymar joining Inter Miami, and negotiations between the two parties are in advanced stages and the possibility of the deal being completed next January is “very high”.
As for Neymar, his position is not yet known, but it is expected that he will welcome the Inter Miami move because of the opportunity to reunite with former Barcelona stars Luis Suarez, Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets, and of course Messi.
In general, even if Neymar stays until the end of his contract, it is most likely that he will leave Al Hilal next summer, either returning to Europe or moving to one of the Brazilian or American clubs.
