Spanish newspaper “Nacional” has reported that Paris Saint-Germain is keen to sign Real Madrid star Brahim Diaz during the current summer transfer window.
The Moroccan star has delivered exceptional performances last season with the Royal club after returning from a two-year loan spell with Milan in the Italian league.
Diaz has caught the eye of PSG coach Luis Enrique, as the Spanish coach believes the Real Madrid star is the missing piece in his attacking line for the upcoming season.
Due to Enrique’s insistence on signing Diaz, Paris Saint-Germain is now ready to pay €70 million, a figure that might make Real Madrid think twice about allowing their player to move to the Parc des Princes.
Paris has yet to sign a real replacement for Kylian Mbappe, although they have been linked with several stars recently such as Nico Williams and Jadon Sancho, and now Diaz is the third name proposed on Nasser Al-Khelaifi’s management table.
Spanish media had previously indicated that Real Madrid is ruling out the departure of any player from their squad this summer despite a clear glut in the attacking line in particular.
Diaz played in 44 matches in all competitions with Real Madrid last season, scoring 12 goals and providing 9 assists, and he faces strong competition this season following the signing of Endrick and Mbappe.
