Reports: Real Madrid has finalized its first summer deal

Relevo reported that Real Madrid has reached an agreement with one of the most important football stars to join its ranks in the upcoming summer transfer period.

The talk here is about Bayern Munich left-back, Alphonso Davies, who according to the report has decided to move to the royal club and not renew his contract with his current club.

Bayern Munich had made an offer to renew the contract of the Canadian international since last summer, and recently reopened the negotiation line.

According to the report, Davies informed Bayern Munich officials of his rejection of the final offer on his table, and reached an agreement with Real Madrid on all the details to join its ranks for free in the summer of 2025.

The 23-year-old will receive a large transfer bonus from Real Madrid management, and his arrival may spell the end for one of the duo Ferland Mendy or Fran Garcia at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Barcelona recently tried to enter the deal and snatch Davies by exploiting his strong relationship with the current Catalan coach Hansi Flick, but Real eventually succeeded in deciding the matter in his favor.

Davies’ deal is not expected to be the only free and major one for Real in the summer, as negotiations are ongoing with Trent Alexander-Arnold to succeed Dani Carvajal in leading the right flank of the Merengue.
