Sky Sports journalist Romain Collet-Godin claims that Mohamed Salah has received a huge offer from a European giant to join them next summer.
Salah has announced that the renewal negotiations between him and Liverpool are currently stalled, and that reaching an agreement between the two parties is “far-fetched”, which makes him closer to leaving than continuing at Anfield.
According to Godin, Paris Saint-Germain are doing everything they can to sign the “Egyptian King” for free next summer.
PSG have given Salah a fantastic offer, as he will receive a weekly salary of 500 thousand euros, with a contract for three seasons, which is completely in line with the ambitions of the 31-year-old.
Meanwhile, Liverpool’s offer has stopped at a weekly salary of 400 thousand euros per week, with a contract for only two seasons.
Salah currently earns around €480,000 per week with Liverpool, which means that the Reds management is asking the player to reduce his salary to continue, which is one of the most important obstacles to reaching an agreement so far.
The strange thing is that the news of Paris Saint-Germain comes a few weeks after the president of the French club, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, confirmed that Salah is not in his club’s calculations and there is no interest in signing him.
It remains to be noted that Salah is receiving great attention from the Saudi League as well, and it was said that Barcelona, Chelsea and Inter are all closely following his situation with Liverpool.
