The newspaper “Marca” confirmed that Sergio Ramos is on his way to leave Seville at the end of his contract in the summer of 2024, and that he has identified two destinations, one of which he will move to in the remainder of his career.
Although Ramos feels comfortable with the Andalusian club, Sevilla is in the process of economic reform that will make the player need to accept difficult financial and sporting conditions in order to renew his contract.
According to the newspaper, Ramos will leave the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium, and he has a specific plan, which is to either move to the American League or the Saudi League.
Marca notes that America seems to be the closest destination for Ramos, as his brother and agent Rene traveled there to discuss his move to a club next season.
The 39-year-old continues to receive interest from Saudi League clubs, after he was close to Al-Ittihad last summer and before he preferred to return to Seville again.
It is worth noting that Ramos participated this season in 29 matches with Sevilla in all competitions, and was able to score 7 goals and assist another.
