Revealing the date of Olmo’s return to Barcelona matches

Mundo Deportivo reported that Dani Olmo’s injury is not serious, and that he will soon return to participate with Barcelona.

The Catalan club had announced in an official statement that Olmo had suffered a muscle strain that would cause him to miss the match against Benfica on Tuesday in the Champions League.

According to the Catalan newspaper, Olmo’s absence will be for a period ranging from 10 days to a maximum of two weeks.

Thus, the 26-year-old will not participate in the upcoming match against Valencia in La Liga, and there are attempts to prepare him for the match against Atalanta in the Champions League on January 29.

In general, if Barcelona secures qualification before the Atalanta match, it is most likely that Olmo will not play the match even if he recovers, as a precautionary measure to prevent any setbacks.

On this basis, it is certain that Olmo’s return date will be against Deportivo Alaves on Sunday, February 2, scheduled at the Olympic Stadium Luis Companys.

It is worth noting that Olmo played 18 matches with Barcelona this season in all tournaments, during which he scored 6 goals and made 3 others.
