Cristiano Ronaldo is constantly being asked about when he will retire from football, and the question was repeated again during an interview with the Portuguese channel NOW.
Ronaldo replied, “I don’t know when I will retire, whether it will be soon or after two or three years.”
He also added, “It is likely that I will retire with Al-Nassr, I feel happy here and I find myself in a good position and I have a special feeling whether in this country or the Saudi League in general.”
So far, Ronaldo has not succeeded in achieving any official title with Al-Nassr, and he commented on that, “Perhaps this is the reason that will make me continue with Al-Nasr and end my career here.”
He concluded, “I am very happy to play in Saudi Arabia and I want to continue my career here and achieve success.”
The 39-year-old’s contract with Al-Nassr extends until the summer of 2025, and there are negotiations between the two parties to extend the contract for at least another year.
Ronaldo aims to participate with Portugal in the 2026 World Cup, after which he may decide to end his historic career in football.
