Ronaldo: I will return to Real Madrid.. and my relationship with Messi is “not bad”

Football legend Cristiano Ronaldo confirmed that he is likely to return to Real Madrid again, but after retiring from football.

The Portuguese international was active with Real Madrid from 2009 until he left for Juventus in 2018 for 100 million euros, and he still maintains a good relationship with the fans despite the tension in his relationship with President Florentino Perez and his management.

The Don spoke in a new press interview about returning to Real Madrid, answering by saying, “Maybe after my career ends, something can happen.”

He also added, “My period with Real Madrid was the best in my career, and it was also the happiest.”

The 39-year-old was asked about his relationship with his rival Lionel Messi, and he answered by saying, “My relationship with Messi was never bad.”

“I don’t think any of the current or upcoming players will reach the numbers that Messi and I have achieved in football, but if it happens, it will be a good thing,” he concluded.

Ronaldo is close to renewing his contract for another year with Al-Nassr, to remain with the Saudi club until the 2026 World Cup, and perhaps after that he will end his career in football.
