Cristiano Ronaldo expressed his happiness at returning to training with Al-Nassr after the end of his vacation.
The Portuguese international was two weeks late to join Luis Castro’s squad due to his participation with the Portuguese national team in Euro 2024.
Ronaldo finally joined the Al-Nassr camp last Saturday but was unable to participate in the friendly match against Granada on Sunday due to lack of fitness.
Ronaldo posted a picture on his social media accounts during Al-Nassr training and wrote, “I’m back where I belong.”
The 39-year-old is expected to participate in Al-Nassr’s last friendly match against Almeria before the official opener on August 14th against Al-Taawoun in the Saudi Super Cup semi-final.
It is worth noting that Ronaldo was the top scorer in the Saudi league last season with 35 goals, but he has not won any official titles with Al-Nassr yet.
