Cristiano Ronaldo renewed his attack on his former coach at Manchester United, Erik Ten Hag, when he considered that what he says is not in line with the value of the Red Devils.
The Dutch coach was the main reason for Ronaldo’s departure from United in 2022 after marginalizing him to the point that the Don came out in an interview with Piers Morgan attacking him.
Ronaldo was asked in a new interview about his opinion of Ten Hag, to which he replied, “As a coach for Manchester United, you cannot say that you will not fight to compete for the English Premier League or the Champions League.”
He also added, “You can only say, for example, that you do not have the capabilities, but you will try, you have to try!”.
The 39-year-old revealed the only lifeline for Ten Hag that could help him succeed at United, “If he listens to Ruud Van Nistelrooy, maybe that will help him.”
“Ruud knows the club well and the club should listen to those who were there like Rio (Ferdinand), Roy Keane, Paul Scholes, Gary Neville and Sir Alex Ferguson,” he concluded.
