Cristiano Ronaldo has put an end to the speculation surrounding his relationship with Sadio Mane by his actions during Al-Nassr’s match against Al-Raed on Thursday in the Saudi Pro League.
The Portuguese international scored Al-Nassr’s first goal, assisted by Mane, in the match that ended in a 2-2 draw in the first round of the league.
Prior to the match, reports suggested that Ronaldo’s relationship with Mane had “collapsed” to the point where the Portuguese was demanding the Senegalese player’s departure before the end of the summer transfer window.
However, these reports seem to be unfounded, as Ronaldo went over to Mane after scoring and smiled broadly at him, embracing him, confirming that their relationship is very good.
Nevertheless, Mane is still expected to leave Al-Nassr, as Saudi newspapers confirm that there is an agreement between Al-Nassr and Al-Ittihad to loan the 32-year-old for free, with Al-Ittihad’s management bearing his salary.
