Cristiano Ronaldo will remain the highest-paid player in football history when he renews his contract with Al-Nassr.
Saudi media confirmed that “Don” has completed his agreement with Al-Nassr management to renew for another year until the 2026 World Cup.
The Daily Mail reported that Ronaldo will receive a legendary salary of 153 million pounds sterling annually, or about 182 million euros.
Al-Nassr will pay the 39-year-old 3.8 million euros per week, meaning that Ronaldo’s day is worth about 500 thousand euros!
Ronaldo’s salary is not limited to what was mentioned only, but it is in addition to other huge sums of money from promoting Saudi Arabia, which are said to reach 50 million euros.
In addition, the new contract allows Ronaldo to obtain 5% of the club’s shares. It is worth noting that Ronaldo, despite his huge salary, has not achieved any official title with Al-Nassr so far, but he announced that his goal is to win the AFC Champions League for the elite this season.
