Liverpool star Mohamed Salah admitted that he was very impressed by Cristiano Ronaldo and the crazy way he devotes his life to football, when he first arrived in Europe.
Salah said in a long interview in which he touched on many issues, “When I started playing in Europe, I was very impressed by Ronaldo after I saw the crazy way he devotes his life to football and the way he takes care of himself.”
He continued in this regard, “His numbers speak for themselves,” indicating that he also loves Ronaldo Nazario, Zinedine Zidane and Francesco Totti and their way of playing.
Salah revealed a piece of advice he received from legendary coach Arsene Wenger that helped him a lot in his career, saying, “I asked him once about the difference between a good player and a very good player.”
He continued, “He said that a very good player always focuses on the game. Even if he is not at his best, he has to stay focused until the final whistle.”
Speaking about his personal ambition, he concluded: “I want to look back on my career and say I’ve enjoyed everything, and that’s why I’m enjoying every second of my time now with Liverpool.”
