English football legend Alan Shearer praised Mohamed Salah, and considered the Liverpool star to be one of the greats of the English Premier League.
Shearer’s praise for the Egyptian star came after he scored the winning goal for Liverpool against Brighton, with which he reached his 164th goal in the Premier League, becoming the eighth highest scorer in the history of the competition.
Shearer said about Salah, “He is a world-class player, did you imagine that he would score this many goals?”.
He also added, “Salah is a great player and over the past years he has always been one of the best players in every season in the Premier League.”
He concluded, “He is also a top-class scorer, I always love watching him with Liverpool and for me I consider him one of the greats of the English Premier League.”
Salah’s contract with Liverpool expires at the end of the current season, and Shearer urged the Reds’ management to renew the 32-year-old, especially since the player’s physical condition speaks for itself.
