Mohamed Salah continued his exceptional levels this season, after scoring a goal from a penalty kick in Liverpool’s 2-1 victory over Wolverhampton in the English Premier League.
This goal was historic by all standards, as it made Salah equal with Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard in the number of penalty kicks scored with the Reds in the Premier League.
The Egyptian international has scored 32 penalty kicks with Liverpool in the Premier League since 2017 until now, equaling Gerrard’s record on the one hand, and becoming the fourth player who scored the most penalty kicks in the history of the competition.

He is ahead of Salah, Alan Shearer (56), Frank Lampard (43) and Harry Kane (33) in penalty kicks in the Premier League.
Meanwhile, this was Salah’s 101st Premier League goal at Anfield, making him the third-highest scorer at a single ground in the competition’s history, level with Wayne Rooney (at Old Trafford).
The 32-year-old is ahead of Thierry Henry (116) at Highbury, and Argentine Sergio Aguero (106) at the Etihad.
It remains to be noted that Salah has moved away from the top of the Premier League scorers list with his 23rd goal, four goals ahead of City star Erling Haaland.
