Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has ignited the competition before the upcoming confrontation between his team and Manchester City, with exciting statements about Erling Haaland, the Sky Blues’ striker.
Speaking to Sky Germany, Salah indicated that Haaland has an “easier life” when it comes to scoring goals, as he is an outspoken striker.
The Egyptian star, who tops the Premier League’s scorers list with 24 goals, explained that his statistics are more important due to his position as a winger.
Salah said: “I respect him a lot. We may have only spoken once after the last match. But he is a striker, so his life is easier. I wish him all the best, of course.”
He continued, “His life is easy because he plays as a striker. As for the winger, getting these kinds of scoring opportunities is very difficult. Any winger can tell you that. That’s why I see it differently between us, because he is a striker and I am a winger.”
Salah talked about Omar Marmoush, saying, “He is like my little brother. I told him I am always here if he needs anything. We always talk to each other and our relationship is good.”
