Mohamed Salah continued his favorite hobby of scoring goals with Liverpool in major matches in the Premier League, and this time Arsenal was the victim.
The London club hosted Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, and led 2-1, until Salah intervened in the 80th minute and scored the equalizer.
Salah moved in a more than wonderful way and in the empty space behind the Arsenal defense, Darwin Nunez passed the ball to him in front of David Raya and the Egyptian shot it powerfully into the net.
This is the 11th goal scored by Salah against Arsenal in his career, 10 of which were with Liverpool and one with Chelsea.
The 31-year-old became the historical scorer in Liverpool and Arsenal matches, tied with Roberto Firmino with 11 goals each.
Meanwhile, Salah has now scored 163 Premier League goals, moving him above Jermain Defoe and level with Robbie Fowler in eighth place in the competition’s all-time top scorers.
Salah has now scored his sixth Premier League goal of the season for Liverpool, five behind the current top scorer in the competition, Erling Haaland, who has 11 goals.
