Salah Sets an ‘Awkward’ Condition to Stay with Liverpool

The Athletic has revealed that Mohamed Salah is setting an awkward condition in order to stay with Liverpool and renew his contract, which expires in the summer of 2025.

English media had previously confirmed that Liverpool would do everything in their power to keep Salah and would grant him a special exception by giving him a large salary despite reaching the age of 32.

On the player’s part, he is not in a hurry to make a decision about leaving or staying with Liverpool and prefers to wait and see how things go this season before deciding his fate.

Salah has set a condition to stay with the Reds, which is that he must be convinced by the coach, Arne Slot, and his ideas.

The “Egyptian King” wants to feel confident in Slot’s ideas first, as he did with Jurgen Klopp, and if he doesn’t find that, he will decide to leave Anfield without hesitation.

So far, things seem to be going positively, but the season is still long and it is difficult to predict whether Salah will be convinced by Slot or decide to leave in the end.
