Marca journalist Jose Felix Diaz revealed that a Saudi club is in advanced negotiations with Thibaut Courtois to sign him next summer.
The Belgian goalkeeper’s contract with Real Madrid extends until the summer of 2026, and it does not seem that the royal club has any desire to leave one of its most important pillars, but rather the intention is to renew his contract.
However, Diaz confirmed that a Saudi club, whose identity he did not reveal, has contacted Courtois’ agent, and a delegation from it will go to Spain in the coming weeks to conclude the negotiations.
In the same context, Diaz confirms that Courtois is not the only player who may move to Real Madrid, but there is another player who has a huge offer from the Roshn League.
Diaz did not reveal the identity of this player, and was content to say that the negotiations between him and the Saudi club are proceeding slowly but positively and may be concluded soon.
That player will not be Vinicius Junior, who Diaz said already has a big offer from Al Hilal, and that the Brazilian has not closed the door on a move to Saudi Arabia next summer.
