Shikabala is “depressed” and absent from Zamalek training!

Media figure Khaled El-Ghandour revealed that Mahmoud Abdel Razek “Shikabala” suffers from depression after the events of the last Egyptian Super Cup match.

Shikabala could have given Zamalek the Super Cup title if he succeeded in scoring the penalty kick into Al-Ahly’s net, but Mohamed El-Shennawy saved it and the White Knight lost in the end.

The Zamalek captain was subjected to a severe attack, especially since his history in scoring penalty kicks was not good, and many believed that he should not have scored the penalty kick and left it to another player who is skilled at scoring.

According to El-Ghandour, Shikabala has been in a very bad psychological state in the past few days due to his missed penalty kick and the fans’ attacks he experienced after that.

Due to the Egyptian star’s bad psychological state, he apologized for not participating in Zamalek’s training on Monday.

Zamalek is preparing for the start of the Egyptian League, and the start will be on Friday against Al-Bank Al-Ahly at Al-Salam Stadium.

Shikabala is the most decorated player in Zamalek’s history, and his contract with the Whites still extends for another year.
