Slot reveals Liverpool star suffered a “bad” injury!

Liverpool manager Arne Slot has confirmed that Curtis Jones has suffered an injury that “doesn’t look good”.

The Reds are preparing to face Ipswich Town on Saturday in the Premier League, and Slot spoke at the press conference about Liverpool’s absences.

The Dutch coach said in this regard: “Curtis Jones is injured, and the injury doesn’t look good at all, he won’t be with us for the Ipswich game, but I don’t expect him to be out for months.”

He added: “Let’s see if he can play against Bournemouth or Eindhoven, we will see the results of the medical tests soon.”

Jones shone this week, after scoring an important goal in Liverpool’s 2-1 win over Lille in the Champions League, but he then suffered a sudden muscle injury.

In addition to Jones, Liverpool will only miss the services of Diogo Jota and Joe Gomez due to injury.

Liverpool lead the Premier League standings with 50 points, six points ahead of closest pursuers Arsenal and Nottingham Forest.
