Liverpool manager Arne Slot has confirmed that Diogo Jota will miss Sunday’s Premier League clash with Arsenal due to injury.
Jota missed the last match against Leipzig after suffering a knock during the Chelsea match last week.
In a press conference ahead of the upcoming summit, Slot said: “Jota will not be available against Arsenal.”
He also added: “Federico Chiesa will probably train with us on Saturday, Connor Bradley no, they are unlikely to be there either.”
He concluded: “Alisson is progressing well in his recovery period, but it is a long recovery period, he is not even in the final stages of treatment, I do not expect him to be back in the next two weeks.”
It is worth noting that Liverpool lead the Premier League standings with 21 points, one point ahead of Manchester City, while Arsenal are third with 17 points.
