Moroccan star Sofiane Rahimi has been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain following his impressive performances last season with Al Ain and at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
While PSG was not the only club interested in signing Rahimi, the player has also been linked with other clubs such as Al Ahli Jeddah, Villarreal, and Stuttgart.
However, a source close to the player has informed Kooora that Rahimi does not intend to leave Al Ain this summer despite the attractive offers on the table. The 28-year-old has promised the Emirati club’s management that he will help them retain the AFC Champions League title and participate in the Club World Cup in the United States.
Rahimi’s contract with Al Ain runs until the end of next season, but given his outstanding performance, he is expected to receive a new and very lucrative offer to renew.
It is worth noting that Rahimi won the top scorer award at the Paris 2024 Olympics with 8 goals and was also the top scorer of the AFC Champions League, playing a key role in Al Ain’s second-ever title win.
