Sky Sports fans have chosen the best strikers in the history of the English Premier League since its launch in its new form in 1992.
Mohamed Salah came in third place in the fans’ vote, outperforming many Premier League legends such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney and Luis Suarez.
The fans agreed that the best striker in the history of the competition is Thierry Henry, who had a legendary career with Arsenal.
After the French striker, the legend of English football and the competition’s historical scorer, Alan Shearer, came in second place.
After Salah, Wayne Rooney came in fourth, Cristiano Ronaldo in fifth, Sergio Aguero in sixth, Harry Kane in seventh, Luis Suarez in eighth, Didier Drogba in ninth, and finally Eric Cantona in tenth.
Salah’s selection in this advanced position is not strange, given his legendary numbers with Liverpool over 8 years in the Premier League.
The Egyptian international played 278 matches, during which he scored 170 goals, and he is the eighth top scorer in the Premier League throughout its history, 5 goals behind Henry VII.
Salah, 32, shares the top scorer in the Premier League this season with Erling Haaland with 13 goals, noting that he won the Golden Boot award in England twice in the past.
