The Telegraph reported that Arsenal are very interested in signing Mohamed Salah from Liverpool next summer.
The Egyptian international’s contract at Anfield expires in the summer of 2025, and there is a possibility of his departure next summer if his contract is not renewed instead of leaving for free the following year.
According to the English newspaper, Arsenal has modified its summer goals to sign a winger instead of an outright striker in the wake of Kai Havertz’s brilliance.
Given the dispute between Salah and Jurgen Klopp, the 32-year-old may aim to leave Anfield with a major concern to continue within European football and not move to Saudi Arabia.
Because of this, Arsenal will try to monitor the situation and negotiate with Salah’s agent to convince him to join the London club, in a move that will be one of the surprises of football throughout history in general.
Salah has been playing with Liverpool since 2017, and has become the Reds’ all-time top scorer in the Premier League. Therefore, his transfer to another club in England while he is still at his usual level would be a great betrayal and an incredible surprise.
