Liverpool’s management is open to the departure of Luis Diaz in the remaining days of the current summer transfer window, but only on the condition of receiving a large financial offer that would allow them to make another deal to replace him.
Diaz has been linked with a move to Barcelona in recent times, as the Catalan club seeks to sign a left winger after confirming Nico Williams’ continued stay with Athletic Bilbao next season.
According to The Athletic, Liverpool’s management is willing to sell Diaz for €58 million.
This is the same amount that Barcelona was prepared to pay to sign Nico Williams, thus opening the door wide for the Catalan club to sign the Colombian international.
Sources close to Barcelona have revealed that the Catalans are currently choosing between Diaz and Kingsley Coman, knowing that signing the Bayern Munich star would be easier due to Bayern’s willingness to loan him out.
