Mundo Deportivo reported that the European Super League competition has returned to life due to the English Premier League clubs.
According to the famous newspaper, the six big clubs: Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea have once again returned to negotiations in order to establish the tournament.
So far, there are only Real Madrid and Barcelona in the new competition, which has received confirmation from the European Court of Justice of its legality, with UEFA warning not to impose sanctions on the participating clubs.
Now, with the major English clubs returning to negotiations, the competition, which is still looking for participants, may be revived despite assurances from the head of the organizing company that there are approvals from many clubs without announcing their identity.
It is noteworthy that the European Super League was established in April 2021, but under pressure from UEFA as well as European governments, all clubs withdrew except Real Madrid and Barcelona.
