Barcelona fans poured their anger on goalkeeper Szczesny, after he made catastrophic mistakes during his team’s match against Benfica in the Champions League.
The Portuguese club took an early lead in the sixth minute, but Barça quickly managed to come back through a penalty kick by Robert Lewandowski.
In the 21st minute, Benfica passed the ball behind Barcelona’s defense, and Szczesny came out in a strange way. Instead of pouncing on the ball, he collided with his teammate Alejandro Balde and left it to Pavlidis, who put it in the net.

The Polish goalkeeper’s wrong decisions did not stop there, but he then made a mistake in coming out again and caused a penalty kick that Pavlidis also converted into his own net.

Iñaki Peña was supposed to start the match, as was the case in the past six matches, but Hansi Flick decided at the last moment to give the 34-year-old goalkeeper the opportunity.
This is Szczesny’s fourth match against Barcelona, after playing a match in the King’s Cup against Barbastro, and two matches in the Super Cup, one of which he was sent off against Real Madrid in the final.
