Szoboszlai lends Güler to Real Madrid!

The war between Dominik Szoboszlai and Arda Güler erupted during Turkey’s UEFA Nations League match against Hungary, not just on the pitch but also on social media.

During the second leg in Budapest on Sunday, the two players had several arguments on the pitch, and Güler was seen pointing at Szoboszlai and putting his finger to his mouth, signaling “shut up.”

Fans reacted to the incident on social media, before Güler posted a photo of the incident on his Instagram account. This apparently angered the Liverpool star.

Szoboszlai commented on the photo posted by Güler, writing “1088,” which later became clear that he was referring to the number of minutes the 19-year-old has played for Real Madrid this season in all competitions.

Szoboszlai wanted to send a clear message to Guler that he was a substitute player, perhaps aiming to taunt him about his failed experience so far at Real Madrid, a move that has been widely criticized by fans.

Guler is truly struggling at Real Madrid, and it’s been reported that the tensions between him and coach Carlo Ancelotti have reached such a fever pitch that the player has decided to leave the Santiago Bernabéu next season if the Italian continues in his position.

Meanwhile, the 24-year-old Szoboszlai maintains a near-starting position at Liverpool, having played 2,887 minutes in all competitions for the Reds, and is on the verge of winning the Premier League title.
